During 2007, helping our clients remain

In the following pages, you will find
information from our support desk about additions to
our support services, all aimed at providing high quality
and extended support to all our clients.
You will also find information on some
of the SunSystems modules that can make a real difference
to processes and profitability. Recurring Invoicing
provides a secure, automated process for invoicing regular
charges, whilst Collect can make a real difference to
cash collection and profitability. Together with the
experience and skills of our consultants, these modules
can add serious value to the Financial Management function.
Our seminars on Optimising SunSystems
have proved very popular, as have our webinars on key
business areas. We’ll be continuing this series
throughout the remainder of 2007, so do check the website
for the latest information for dates etc.
In September we will be hosting breakfast
events for clients in London and the North West. We
have invited a key note speaker to these events, who
is a recognised key advisor to major corporations. The
theme for these events will be “Improving the
role of the Finance team” and I would encourage
all of you to set some time aside for what promises
to be an interesting and challenging briefing. More
information on these events will be sent out shortly,
but if you want to pre book, please contact us on the
usual numbers.
We are also pleased to announce the
introduction of our Training Academy in this newsletter.
All clients are members of the academy, which can offer
some significant savings in your training budgets
Finally, the merger of SunSystems into
the Infor brand has proved an exciting and positive
challenge. For our clients, this means that you now
have access to the third largest ERP vendor in the world,

Did You Know? - Sales
Invoicing
Are you invoicing regular
charges, such as Rent, Maintenance and service charges?
Regular charges are often rekeyed at
every invoice cycle, taking up time and resources at
a key time.
If you use Spreadsheets to do this,
they often contain errors and miscalculations that also
take up time and resources in correcting.
SunSystems Sales Invoicing, with Recurring
Invoicing, manages the enitire sales invoicing cycle,
including the management of Deferred income, and accrued
income. Full contract information, control of billing
cycles, discounting, and automatic posting to the Ledgers
is all handled easily and quickly.

Did You Know? - Credit
Management
We all know the importance
of collecting our debts in as quickly as possible. But
very often the processes we employ to collect the cash
limit the improvements we can make.
Traditionally, Credit Control has focused
on key metrics such as Days outstanding and value of
the oldest periods. Focusing just on these elements
however, prevents us from making real improvements in
our cash position. Many companies reach a plateau where
improvements have been made, but making more is not
seen as possible. In addition, a large quantity of debt
is under query or awaiting credit, masking the true
position.
SunSystems Collect helps you proactively
plan your collection and break through the barrier.
As a simple to implement solution from

Training Academy
For Customers planning
projects this year, we are pleased to announce the introduction
of our Training Academy. Membership of the academy offers
clients a discount on the normal training rates, depending
on the number of days booked. All Clients are members
of the Academy.
Clients planning projects, or anticipating
increased staff turnover can pre book blocks of training
days at a discounted rate. The projects will normally
have been agreed with our services team, and the days
must be invoiced within 6 months of the booking.
The advantage to project teams and the
Finance department is that the training budget can be
agreed and fixed in advance, whilst providing flexibility
in delivery.
Discounted rates are based on the number
of days booked as follows:
30 days + attract a
15% discount off the standard daily rate
20-29 days attract
a 10% discount off the standard daily rate
10-19 days attract
a 5% discount off the standard daily rate
